You will need help for banking services, having an ADSL line installed or contacting a tradesperson.
Because settling down in a foreign country is anything but easy, you need to be sure to find proper answers to your questions. Always relying on friends and coming back to them for all these questions may spoil your relationships too.
Even if you are away from your French home, I can organise things for you, contact the French administration, arrange appointments with a plumber, a handyman, etc.
